Art

The static nature of drawing is something I really appreciate, given its contrast with dance and design, which both move with the body. I use inspiration from other facets of my life to give each piece its own movement. Each work I create is reflective of an instant in my life, whether it be a moment from ballet class, my mental image of a character in a book, or a portrayal of my own emotions. While life is in constant motion, drawings create the space to spread out an instant of despair or joy indefinitely.
