Fashion Design

I began fashion design when I was 6 years old because I could not find a Laura Ingalls Wilder Halloween costume. Armed with a Brother sewing machine, determination, and a bravado that outpaced my skill level (and fortunately a babysitter who could provide assistance), I set out on a journey to create clothing.

Factory mass production combined with societal conformity has led to a loss of individuality in dressing, which in turn diminishes the artistic aspect of fashion. I find joy in creating one-of-a-kind garments for myself and my clients.
